TECBOND 261 – Flexible Hot-Melt Adhesive (43mm Slugs)

Description

Tecbond 261 is a very high performance and versatile adhesive which will provide tough durable bonds on a wide range of substrates. It remains very soft and flexible when cured and is designed specifically for the premium TEC 43mm glue guns. 43mm Glue guns have a great advantage of being able to put a lot of glue down very quickly which is particularly important when using hot-melt adhesives to bond polypropylene as the secret to a good bond is to run teh glue hot and act fast in making the bond.

Tecbond 261 is suitable for ceramic, plastics (including polypropylene) and wood. The product provides fantastic adhesion to smooth and difficult to bond boards due to it’s unique flexibility and, of particular interest to Gorcell users, provides excellent for bonding of polypropylene both to itself and to other materials.

Tecbond 261 has good heat restisance up to 75°C but you should be aware that, like all hot melt adhesives, if does have limitations and will soften with heat. It is not recommended for subjected to excessive heat or prolonged direct sunlight. In warm climates, feeding problems may occur but can commonly be addressed by keeping the glue slugs in the fridge before use.
